Refund Policy

Last updated: 8 October 2026

HUSTLERS PLATFORM INCORPORATED (PRIVATE) LIMITED · Reg. No. 136868A0392026

This policy explains when a Client gets money back and how. It forms part of our Terms & Conditions, and does not limit any rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act [Chapter 14:14].

1. At a glance

SituationWhat you get back
You cancel before paying (no one hired, or nothing funded yet)Nothing was charged, so there's nothing to refund.
You paid, but the work hasn't startedA full refund, including the service fee.
The Hustler doesn't show upA full refund, including the service fee.
Urgent job that nobody claimed before it expiredA full refund, including the $3.00 urgent fee — or turn it into a regular job and get the urgent fee as account credit.
Some of the work was done, or you're unhappy with itDecided through our dispute process — the payment may be released, refunded or split.
You approved the work, or payment was releasedPayment has gone to the Hustler; no refund through the platform.

2. Cancelling before you pay

You can cancel a job you posted while it is still open, from the job page. Nothing is charged until you fund a job, so there is nothing to refund. On milestone jobs, you are only charged for a milestone when you fund it.

3. Paid, but the work hasn't started

If you funded a job and the Hustler hasn't started the work, email support@hustlers.co.zw with the job title and ask to cancel. You get a full refund of what you paid, including the service fee. On milestone jobs this applies to each funded milestone whose work hasn't started.

4. The Hustler doesn't show up

  • On jobs with several positions, mark the Hustler as a no-show from the job page; that Hustler's share is refunded to you in full, including its service fee.
  • On other jobs, raise a dispute from the job page (or email us) saying the Hustler didn't show. Once confirmed, you get a full refund including the service fee.

5. Urgent (SOS) jobs

Urgent jobs are paid upfront. If no Hustler claims yours before it expires, you can either cancel it for a full refund — including the $3.00 urgent fee — or turn it into a regular job. If you turn it into a regular job, the payment stays held for that job and the $3.00 urgent fee is credited to your account and used against your next payment (credit can't be withdrawn as cash).

If a Hustler on a lower rate (an Early Hustler) claimed your urgent job, the fee difference was credited to your account when they claimed it. If that job is later refunded, you get back the rest of what you paid, so you're refunded once in total.

6. Partly done or disputed work

If some work was done, or you're not satisfied with it, raise a dispute within 7 days of the Hustler submitting it. The payment stays held while we review what both sides provide, and we may release it, refund it, or split it. The decision says how the amount, including fees, is divided. See section 8 of the Terms.

7. How refunds are paid

  • Refunds go back through Paynow to the mobile money account (EcoCash or InnBucks) you paid from. If that isn't possible, we'll contact you to agree another way.
  • We aim to send an approved refund within 7 business days of approving it. Your mobile money provider may take a little longer to show it.
  • You'll get a notification when your refund is approved.
